We're starting this new blog because we have begun a new adventure. We're now shooting a six-part series for mtv. This is really exciting for us and something we've been working towards for quite a while. Ever since we made the first HYN film nearly ten years ago (yikes!) we had this idea that maybe a show like this could work as a tv series. But we couldn't find anyone who would agree to put it on the air!
After we made our Election Special ("On The Campaign Trail") in 2004, we realized that this series idea really could work and we began trying harder to find a home for it. Back in 2005 mtv expressed interest and after much paperwork and negotiations we finally got to make a pilot episode in 2006. Then, in 2007, we got the good news. They had "greenlit" our show! So we got the gang together for one more shot, and now we're back on the scene.
